Introducing UWE Sport Summer Sessions, a series of blogs exploring fitness and nutrition for the summer months. Stay tuned for workouts and recipes to inspire your fitness journey in the hot (and sometimes not) weather!
This week’s article focuses on outdoor exercise and with the sun already beaming down, you better make the most of it whilst it lasts!
We know that physical activity has both physical and psychological benefits on our health. And we know that fresh air and sunshine is also good for our health and well being. So what better way to get the ultimate feel good buzz than by combining the two.
Alongside our fully equipped gym and class timetable, we are running some of our circuit classes outside on our Trim Trail. It is suitable for everyone with the circuit elements featuring a balance beam, logs to hurdle, hill sprints and much more.
It is a great addition to your everyday workout, making your usual run a little more interesting and enhancing your core strength and endurance too!
Join us for Tuesday lunchtime Circuits (12.15-12.55)* this summer and try it for yourselves, you will be led by a qualified and experienced instructor and you may even get to top up your tan on the way!
Find out more online and check out the route below. *Weather dependant.
